Fine dining at Il Piccolo Mondo!

Another fabulous dinner date, this time at Il Piccolo Mondo in Bottisham.  Was a bit concerned that it may be too far out of Cambridge, but nothing to worry about - easy to get to and no trouble getting taxis home.  This is a beautiful restaurant in a converted church building - in fact right next to the church.  They serve up a little slice of authentic Italian hospitality with a menu based on authentic dishes made from simple, fresh ingredients sourced locally and from the Italian heartland.  I had their home-made mozzarella cheese to start - absolutely scrumptious!

August Photo Assignment - The results

August's topic of "A song book of film title" must have either confused people or we suffered badly from the "August" effect - with far fewer entries than previous months. But that didn't stop people having a fun evening critiquing the entries with did have under Tony's stewardship.

It was another month where two rounds of voting were required to find a clear winner and that went to "Castle in the air" - a massively, and obviously photoshopped image.

Second place went to "The Railway Children" - a shot taken at an IVC event!

No third place was awarded as there were too many entries tying after these two.

and did I say??? Both entries were mine:)

Since you should have learnt something by now and next month brings us to the end of 1 year I'm letting you pick any topic(s) from the year and produce new images to those topics - but they must be shot in Sep-2017.
